When exploring coal deposits in this area in 1986, a strong jet of thermomineral water emerged from the well, with a temperature of about 40oC at the surface of the water. The water comes from a depth of 180 m where the temperature exceeds 80oC. As it passes through the cold layers of the earth, it cools and maintaine constant temperature of 40oC through all seassons.
