14th Serbian Conference on Spectral Line Shapes in Astrophysics
Bajina Bašta, Serbia, June 19 - 23, 2023

Transportation

Organized transport
For all participants there will be organized transportation from Belgrade to the Conference site on June 19th, and back to Belgrade on June 23rd after the closing of the Conference. This transportation is free of charge for registered participants.

Because of the streets reconstruction, it is impossible for the bus to get to the Observatory. So, the organized bus will be starting on Monday, June 19th, at 10:30 from the last bus stop of the line 65 on Zvezdara, close to the Observatory.

The bus will be collecting participants from the airport at noon. The meeting point at the airport will be at the exit gate for international arrivals.

On Friday, June 23rd, we will start our journey back after the lunch (around 2 PM). We expect to be at the airport at about 5 PM, and at the Observatory at about 6 PM. Please have in mind these information while organizing your travel.

Late arrivals
For those not taking the organized transportation, there is a regular bus connection, from the Belgrade Central bus station (BAS, address :Zeleznicka 4, Beograd) to Bajina Basta, a few times per day at: 09:00, 13:45 and 15:15 ( timetable) and from Bajina Basta to Belgrade at 06:15, 07:30, 15:00, 18:15 (timetable).

Optionally one can use different transport services (rent-a-car, or a mini bus) to Bajina Basta.
There are plenty of rental services in the airport building (rent-a-car).
There is a posibility to organize transport from the airport or any other part in Belgrade to Bajina Basta and back by mini-bus. For more information, see e.g. Gea tours.

Getting to Belgrade from the airport "Nikola Tesla"
From the airport to the city center take the fast mini-bus A1 line (ticket price around 300 RSD), departing every 20 min in the rush-hour, that takes you to the Slavia square in the city center. Note that A1 stops close to the Central bus station (BAS), where you can take a bus to Bajina Bašta.
Less favorable option is bus 72, because it takes a long time to travel from the airport to the center of Belgrade and its last stop Zeleni Venac is the busiest bus stop in Belgrade.

The "Nikola Tesla" airport offers a service to buy a taxi-voucher (there are 6 zones, depending on the area you want to reach; for example, 3000 RSD for the city center area). Check this possibility as soon as you exit the custom control. For more details check the airport website.
