Proceedings of the conference

The deadline for paper submission is September 30, 2021.

We are going to publish selected papers presented at the 13th SCSLSA in the journal "Astronomische Nachrichten" as a Special Issue. For more details on the journal, please follow this link

The article based on your talk/poster should be prepared according to the requirements of the journal. Please prepare your manuscripts following the official instructions, see this link. A latex template is available here: LaTeX template.


SUBMISSION PROCEDURE (STEPS 1 AND 2)

STEP 1

Authors are required to submit their manuscript (at least four pages long) electronically by sending a LaTeX source file and a resulting PDF file named after the first author name and surname (e.g., name_surname.tex, name_surname.pdf), and figures (*.eps) as one file (zipped, or tarred & gzipped) by email to 13scslsa@gmail.com. Please, in the email subject indicate the name and surname of the first author. The authors are encouraged to use BibTeX to ensure a proper and uniform formatting of the References.

The manuscript will be reviewed by an external reviewer. Upon accepting the manuscript, the authors will be allowed to upload the manuscript to the AN system (see STEP 2)

STEP 2

Manuscript upload for AN Special Issues

Manuscripts accepted by the Guest Editors must be submitted online via the web-based submission system ScholarOne Manuscripts.

Important: Please use the Manuscript type ‘Proceeding’.

Steps for Using the Online Submission System:

  1. Please check first whether you already have an account. If you are unsure, or have forgotten your password, follow the instructions on the log-in screen.
  2. If you’re a first-time user, use the ‘Create An Account’ link to create an account.
  3. The submitting author (only) is required to provide an ORCID ID when submitting their manuscript.
  4. Log-in and select “Author”.
  5. Click the “Start New Submission” link.
  6. Enter data and answer questions as prompted.
  7. Click on the “Save & Continue” button on each screen to save your work and advance to the next screen.
  8. You are required to upload your files:
    • Click on the “Select File” button and locate the file on your computer.
    • Select the designation of each file in the drop-down menu next to the “Select File” button.
    • When you have selected all files you wish to upload, click the “Upload Selected Files” button.
    • To finish the file upload step click on the “Save & Continue” button at the end of the page.
  9. Review your submission (in PDF format) before sending to the Editors. To finish your submission click the “Submit” button.

Additional information:

We are going to publish additional proceedings for a number of papers devoted to atomic data and laboratory plasma in ASR (Advances in Space Research) .

Papers must be submitted electronically to the journal to ensure that all manuscripts are correctly identified for inclusion into the special issue, authors must select “Special Issue: Spectroscopy & data” when they reach the "Article Type" step in the submission process.

Submitted papers must be written in English and should include full affiliation postal addresses for all authors. The general format for submission of papers can be found on the ASR Elsevier web site.
Final deadline for submitting your paper to ASR journal is 30. November 2021.
